Yesterday was a special day for our Pendleton, SC restaurant. Clemson Football Head Coach Dabo Swinney and his wife Kathleen were on hand to serve up some of our delicious Southern food, while raising awareness for breast cancer research and support through a Tigers for TaTa’s event.
Hosted by radio station 105.5/97.5 The Roar, the flagship station for Clemson Athletics, Tigers for TaTa’s is the station’s signature event and fundraiser with every dollar raised going to Dabo’s All In Team® Foundation. Now in its sixth year, Tigers for TaTa’s has raised more than $400,000 for the foundation to date.
Yesterday’s event lasted from 12-3pm and was broadcast via The Roar’s show Out of Bounds with Qualk and Kelly. Highlights from the event included when the Swinneys worked the drive-thru window, surprising unsuspecting customers, and when our CEO Jeff Rigsby handed Coach Swinney a $5,000 check for his foundation.
In addition to lots of good conversation and a whole lot of fun, the event reflected Bojangles’ long-standing partnership with the Clemson Tigers and BOJ of WNC’s commitment to giving back to the community we serve. Go Tigers!
