Bojangles is proud to have completed our first-ever Bo Heroes Tour, a remarkable three-week journey across the Southeast with our new patriotically decorated ambulance as a highlight of our Star-Spangled Big Bo Box campaign. This colorful and impactful initiative increased awareness and raised funds for our charitable partner, Folds of Honor.
For the third year, Bojangles partnered with Folds of Honor to release a limited-edition Big Bo Box, with the sales directly benefiting the organization. This year was particularly notable as Folds of Honor expanded its mission to support not only the families of fallen or disabled service members but also those of fallen or disabled first responders.
Celebrating this expanded scope and honoring Bojangles’ dedication to the military community, we revamped our beloved Star-Spangled Big Bo Box. This fresh design, adorned with red, white, and blue stars and stripes, was introduced through a special mission video.
With our box design complete, we took our visual campaign a step further, transforming an ambulance into the Bo Heroes Mobile by wrapping it in the box’s patriotic design.
We then embarked on a memorable journey, covering 50 stops including fire stations, police offices, military bases, and other significant organizations to deliver scratch-made chicken, biscuits, and tea. Our goal was simple: to surprise and honor the heroes who lay the foundation of safety in our communities. Supporters and enthusiasts were able to virtually accompany this campaign’s journey by following the hashtag #BoHeroes on social media and by visiting Bojangles.com/boheroes.
The entire team at Bojangles was deeply honored to give back to the community. The reception and warmth the Bo Heroes Mobile received throughout its journey underscored our fans’ profound appreciation of our local and national heroes.
From the beginning of the campaign through the end of July, Bojangles donated $1 from the sale of each Star-Spangled Big Bo Box to Folds of Honor. Additionally, a Round Up Campaign was initiated in select restaurants, allowing guests to contribute to Folds of Honor’s mission by rounding up their purchase amount. A new addition to this year’s partnership was the Star-Spangled Big Bo Bag, a customizable eight-piece family meal, which contributed $0.25 from every purchase to the cause.
Our Star-Spangled campaign was a successful fundraising event, a celebration of community spirit, and a heartfelt tribute to our military and first-responder heroes.
